The capital city is Ljubljana. Other big citys are Celje, Ptuj, Maribor, Velenje and Kranj. 2,100,000 people live in Slovenija on 20,273 km² area. The neighbouring countries are Austria, Hungary, Italy and Croatia. In the summer it is very hot, dry and sometime it rains. It is cold in the winter and very windy in autumn. In spring it is cool. The most interesting places are at the beach in Portorož and Koper and in the center of ljubljana and Ptuj but the most interesting place ist lake Bled.
